I don't think that it is that surprising that a lot of ColdFusion blogs use Wordpress. Good developers should know which technology is the right one to use for a specific project. Wordpress has had a huge amount of developer hours spent on it and is a very good blogging engine so why not use it. This doesn't mean that PHP is better than ColdFusion (or vice versa). It just shows that those ColdFusion developers find ColdFusion the best technology to use building bespoke apps and they think that Wordpress is the best tool to use for maintaining their blog. I'd say that shows that they are smart people and technology aware.
Not sure if you realized, but this isn't a php related site at all, but a click harvesting sponsored links scam with a php developer site front. Try following the links to any actual content, and you'll see. I thought it looked much too amateurish for a web dev site. Nice catch of them on the domain, tho.
Yeah, not sure this is exactly the sort of sample site ideally suited to represent the CF community / developer base. "ColdFusion - preferred by ad trolls everywhere."
