Hal Helms, Mike Smith, and the Ambassador Hotel

No, Mike and Hal weren't involved in any scandal in a hotel...
Today is the last day for early-bird registration for CFUnderground. The conference is usually a lot of fun - this year, given that it's on halloween, should prove to be the best one yet.
In slightly related news, Mike Smith has informed me that the Ambassador Hotel, which I'm staying at and have blogged about as a cheap lodging alternative for MAX attendees, apparently has wireless access in the lobby. Yahoo! I hope you're right, Mike.
Also, Mike has informed me that Hal Helms will be teaching a class at that same hotel, following MAX.
Speaking of Hal, he is one of those guys who usually has something very interesting to say about anything he talks about... and now he has a blog! Hal's blog URL is http://halhelms.com/blog/blogger.cfm

Any chance of getting Hal to provide an RSS feed?

Hal has a newsfeed, not RSS but Atom. FeedDemon picked it up from <link> tag (though it's a bit wrond URL there). The URL to Hals atom feed is:
